Alfred Freddy Ferrara

Alfred (Freddy) Ferrara died on Wednesday April 13, 2011 in Cape Coral Florida at age 60. He was born on May 16, 1950 to John and Alvera (DiMartino) in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Sacred Heart H.S. Mr. Ferrara worked in the Gas Dept for Con Edison for over 37 years; retiring in 2008. In December 2001 he married Eileen Mullin, she survives living in Cape Coral. Freddy is also survived by his children Christine Ferrara, P.F.C. John James Ferrara and their mother Margaret (Connelly) Ferrara, and by Eileens children Scott (Cristy) and Tim Ortiz and a granddaughter Sofie, his sister Ann Marie (Charles) Schiano, his uncle Louis Ferrara and 2 aunts Anna DiCarmine and Dee Mazzaferro and 3 nieces Susanne, Diane and Nicole. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on both Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church will be on Monday April 18th at 10:30. A Committal service will be at Ferncliff Chapel. Donations may be made to Hope Hospice 9470 Healthpark Circle Ft. Myers, Fla. 33908 in Freddy’s memory.
