Alice Cunningham (nee O’Keefe) passed away on January 20, 2013. She was born on February 16, 1923 to Jack and Minerva (Verity) O’Keefe in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. Alice went on to marry John Cunningham who predeceased her in 1997. Alice was a longtime parishioner of Christ the King Church and active in the Senior Citizens . Besides her husband John , Alice was predeceased by her son William in 1998. She is survived by her daughters Mary Ellen Burwell of Tobyhanna, PA, Cathy Engel of Punta Gorda, Fl, Margaret Krulish of Henderson ,NV, Irene Torres of Austintown, OH and Patricia Cunningham of Yonkers. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at Whalen & Ball Funeral home from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday January 24, 2013 at 10am at Christ the King Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery Putnam, NY.
