Allan Jackson Sr. died on Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Baltimore, M.D. at age 69. Born on February 24, 1942 to James and Harriet (Sampson) Jackson in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Mr. Jackson worked for the N.Y. City Dept of Sanitation for many years, retiring in 1984. He was a proud Marine serving his country from 1958 to 1962. Allan is survived by his children; Allan, Jr. of Yonkers; Heath of Staten Island and Joshua of New Jersey and his brother James of Hawaii.
Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball on Friday, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9p.m. Funeral Service, Saturday, March 5th at the Funeral Home at 10a.m. Committal service Ferncliff Chapel.
