Anello F. Monaco of Yonkers died on Sunday April 20, 2014 at age 88. He was born on November 26, 1925 to Joseph and Maria (Merola) Monaco in the Bronx, NY. He received his Master’s Degree through the SUNY System. Mr. Monaco was a Senior Consulting Civil Engineer for Ebasco International in NYC for over 30 years. He was a WWII US Army Veteran serving in Germany and fought at the Battle of the Buldge. Anello is survived by his 2 children Joseph and Barbara and his brother Richard (Marie) Monaco and 3 nieces and 3 nephews and his loving longtime companion Michelle Moghazeh. He was predeceased by his sister Tomasina Trovato. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King Church on Thursday April 24th at 11am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
