Anna Marie Francis

A life long resident of Yonkers, she attended Yonkers High school and, upon completion, started work at Yonkers General Hospital as a nurses aide. She worked there for over 25 years before starting her new job at Mary the Queen Convent where she remained until retiring at 78 years old. She enjoyed her retirement years spoiling all her grandchildren and watching the family grow. At her home in Father Finian she had a group of friends who loved going to the Westchester Dinner Theater, Empire Casino and the Olive Garden restaurant with her. Their Thursday night Pokeno games were a highlight of their week. She will be missed by her family and friends, but we take comfort in the fact that she’s in the company of her family that left before her. May she find peace...

Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday 3-7pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday October 28th at 10am. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
