Anna (Pupczyk) Worona

Anna Worona (nee Pupczyk) passed away on the 11 day of August, 2025 at age 95. Anna was born on March 12, 1930 to Helena Skrypak Pupczyk and Dimitri Pupczyk in Smerekowiec, Poland where she was raised and educated. Anna and her family arrived in the United States in 1965. Anna was an assembly worker in Polychrome Corporation in Yonkers for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a life-long, faithful parishioner of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Anna enjoyed gardening, traveling and trips to Atlantic City. Anna is survived by her two daughters, Maria Worona (Brian Timmins) and Janina Ann Chomyk, and a host of family and friends. Anna was predeceased in death by her husband, Paul Worona, her Son-In-Law, Stefan Chomyk and her two brothers Stefan and John Pupczyk. Anna and her husband were residents of Yonkers for over 60 years.
