Born on July 15, 1949 to Jozef and Mary (Pleszak) Witkiewicz in Poland; he came to America at age 15; attended local schools and graduated from Yonkers High School. Mr. Witkiewicz worked as an electrician for Precesion Valve in Yonkers for over fifteen years and retired when they closed. On April 4, 1970 he married Anna Alencewicz in St. Casimir’s Church, she survives living in Yonkers. Besides his wife Anna, he is survived by his two daughters; Karol (Kevin) Cummins and Sherry (Joseph) D’Urso and his four grandchildren; Anthony, John Bryan and Mark; his sister Kathryn Bogdan, and his three brothers; Edward, Joseph and John Witkiewicz. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Casimir’s Church on Friday, September 18th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
