Antoinette “Nettie” Bruno of New City formerly of Yonkers died on Friday February 6, 2015. Born to Pasquale and Assunta (Caggianese) Bruno in Yonkers where she was raised and educated and graduated from St. Barnabas H.S. Ms. Bruno worked as an Executive Secretary at Yonkers Raceway for over 25 years. Nettie is survived by her brother Frank Bruno and her sister Catherine Horan; and her nephews William (Margie) Drexler, Frank (Barbara) Bruno; and her nieces Cathy (Ron) Caouette, Susan (Jeff) Davidoff and Karen (Tony) Bond and her great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Drexler and her Aunt Leonilde Caggianese. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday February 10, 2015 from 4pm to 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 11am . Interment to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery.
