Audrey Foley

Audrey Foley (nee Stammel) died on August 17, 2013 at age 85. Audrey was born in Yonkers on September 23, 1927 to Arthur and Helen (Schunk) Stammel. On June 19, 1948 she married Joseph F. Foley in Sacred Heart Church where she was a parishioner for 40 years. Joseph predeceased her in 2004. After working for Verizon in White Plains and being a longtime resident of Yonkers she moved to Ocean City ,Maryland and lived for 20 years. Audrey leaves behind her son Richard (Mary) Foley of Mahopac, NY, her daughters Gayle (Michael) Harman of Deer Park,NY and Colleen Browne of Mahopac, NY. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her sister Helen Walsh. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday August 23, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday August 24, 2013 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church with Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, N.Y. 10703.
