She was born on January 20, 1939 in Yonkers to Frank and Anna Drewnowski Drenga. Barbara Ann graduated from Gorton high school and was a parishioner of Christ the King Church. She married Donald P. Christopher (Ret. Commissioner YPD) on October 19, 1957 in Yonkers, he died earlier. Barbara Ann is survived by her daughter Andrea (Anthony) Senerchia, son in law Alan Portanova and her grandchildren Emily, Christopher and Nicole (Meco), her great grandchildren Eva and Meco Jr. She was predeceased by her husband Donald and her daughter Kathleen Portanova.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King Church on Thursday October 5th at 11am. Committal will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
