Barbara Greene

In Loving memory of Barbara Gene (Cockfield) Greene. Born June 29, 1949 to Philip and Delorise (Nero) Cockfield in Florence, S.C. Died November 20, 2017. She was one of eighteen siblings. On October 31, 1981 she married the love of her life George Edward Greene in Yonkers, N.Y. She was a homemaker. They were married for thirty six years. She liked cleaning, traveling, cooking and partying with family and friends. They have one daughter Naquana K. (Cockfield) Press of Yonkers, N.Y. She is survived by five sisters, Mary McFadden, and Alvenia (Ellis) Williams of Olanta, S.C. Rosa McFadden of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Geraldine Cockfield and Dolores Thomas of Yonkers, N.Y. Her husband and daughter, George Edward Greene, and Naquana K. (Cockfield) Press of Yonkers, N.Y. Three brothers in laws, Henry T. (Petronilla) Greene of Yonkers, N.Y., James L. Green of South Hill, Va., John T. Wilson of Jersey City, N.J. One sister in law Shirley Greene of Chase City, Va. She was predeceased by her parents Philip and Delorise Cockfield. Brothers Philip Cockfield Jr. of Yonkers, N.Y., Aaron Cockfield of Baltimore, Maryland, Thomas Cockfield, Johnny Cockfield, Carl Cockfield, of Olanta S.C. One sister Lena Guase of Olanta, S.C. Three brothers in laws David McFadden of Olanta , S.C. , Lang McFadden of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., Robert Lewis Greene, Sr. of Yonkers, N.Y. One sister-in law Alice L. Fails of Yonkers, N.Y. She will be missed by all. Visiting hours will be in Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Saturday 8:30am – 10:30am. Funeral Service will be at 10:30am. Interment will follow at 11:30am in Oakland Cemetery.
