She was born in Yonkers, NY on March 23, 1934, and was predeceased by her husband, Detective-Lieutenant John “Frank” Skelton of the Yonkers PD, and her sons, William and John. She is survived by her sons Frank, David (Gina) and Daniel (LisaMarie), her daughter Geraldine (Augusto Arevalo), 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, in addition to a niece and nephews. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Church for more than forty years and worked at Sacred Heart School for more than twenty years in the cafeteria. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Monday October 31st at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
