BettyAnn Dayton

BettyAnn Dayton (nee Petersen), of Yonkers formerly of the Bronx, died on Thursday March 31, 2011 at St. John’s Riverside Hospital. She was 73 years old. She was born on June 22, 1937 to Karl and Hildegard (Raebiger) Petersen in New York City where she was raised and educated graduating from Evander Childs High School in the Bronx. Mrs. Dayton was a loan officer at Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York City from 1964 until her retirement in 1992. She is survived by one son, Richard F. Dayton, Jr. and his wife, Lori of Hastings on Hudson, one brother, Stephen Petersen of Budd Lake, N.J. and her three grandchildren, Richard A., Amanda R. and Timothy J. Dayton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Karl and Paul Petersen. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday April 5th at 10 AM. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Crematory.
