Beverly Bello

Beverly June Bello (nee Roth) died on Wednesday May 11, 2011 at age 77. She was born on February 2, 1934 to Henry and Gertrude (Reynolds) Roth in Yonkers where she was raised and Graduated from St. Joseph’s Grammar and Gorton H.S. Mrs. Bello worked as a Finance Officer for both Elizabeth Ann Seton College and N.Y. Medical College in Valhalla for over 20 years. Beverly was a parishioner of Christ the King Church, a member of the Cardinal Hayes Columbettes, she volunteered for over 20 years making brail books for the blind, an active member of the Christ the King School (which all of her children attended) and the Amackassin Club. She was a devoted catholic who loved her children and grandchildren above all and received much joy from them. Mrs. Bello is survived by her 5 children; Michael (Carol) Bello, Teresa (John) Skroly, Thomas (Angelique) Bello), Barbara (Harry) Dann and Raymond (Kerry) Bello. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren Caitlin, John, Thomas, Maureen, Harry, Brian, Abigail, Matthew, Claudia, Claire, Nicole, Alyssa, Michael, Christina and Danielle; she was predeceased by a granddaughter Meaghan, survived by her brother Henry (Florence) Roth and the late Francis Roth (1985). Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home (today) Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Christ the King Church on Saturday May 14th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, 590 Avenue of the Americas, NY, NY 10011.
