

Bobbie Mack, a beloved, brave, devoted, hard-working, loyal, resilient, and thoughtful individual, passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 93 surrounded by her family.. Born on July 29, 1932, in Arlington, Tennessee, Bobbie was the cherished daughter of Nelson Tate and Velma King-Jones. She was raised and educated in Memphis, Tennessee, before migrating to Yonkers, New York, as a teenager.
In Yonkers, Bobbie met and married Jesse R. Mack, who predeceased her in 2005. Together, they raised three children: Peggy Miller, Charlie Mack, and Calvin Mack, all of whom predeceased her. Bobbie is survived by her six grandchildren, Andre, Crystal, Tyrone, Vernita, Andrina, and Lydell, along with a host of great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Bobbie's love for bingo could not be overstated, and she was known for being a great cook who loved her family immensely. Her legacy of love and resilience will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Visiting hours will be held on August 8, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, located at 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
Bobbie will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
