Noonan, Catherine (nee O’Brien) 95, passed on Saturday July 9, 2011. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Albert J. in 1971 and her son Albert and her sister Mary Nevin in 2010. She was born in New York City to Jeffrey and Mary (Harrington) O’Brien and was raised in Yonkers N.Y. After graduating from Commerce High School, she started her secretarial career for Phelps Dodge in Yonkers. Catherine is survived by her daughter Deborah Ryan, a brother Fr. Walter O’Brien OFM Cap., and three grandchildren, Caleene and Anthony and Sean. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday July 12th at 11 AM with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
