Cecilia Meade ( nee Connolly) Formally of Yonkers, died on Saturday June 18, 2011 at age 78. Born on April 28, 1933 to Patrick and Cecilia ( Connors ) Connolly in Yonkers, where she was raised and graduated from Commerce H.S.. Mrs. Meade worked for Westchester County Dept. of Social Services for over 26 years, retiring in 1994. On May 11, 1959 she married Thomas F. Meade in Virginia, he died in 1981. She is survived by her 2 children, Michael ( Susan ) Meade and Ceili Meade and her grandson Michael T. Meade. She was predeceased by her son Donald who died in 1992 and her brother Albert Connolly. Visiting will be at The Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday June 22nd at St. Christopher’s R.C. Church ( Peekskill ) at 10am. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Yonkers.
