Constance Marie Cenelli Ballanno (nee Pistoia), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Saturday August 2, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers. She was 86 years old. She was born on November 12, 1927 to Giuseppe and Rosaria Penuzzi Pistoia in Yonkers where she was raised and educated, graduating from Commerce High School. Ms. Ballanno worked at Otis Elevator Company and Ruckel Pontiac Dealership in Yonkers. She also worked as a child care giver which she very much enjoyed.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas R. Cenelli and David A. Cenelli (retired YPD) both of Yonkers.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and predeceased by her sisters, Agatha Batistic, Linda Roberto and Ann Vetrano and brother, Anthony Carbone.
Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday & Friday 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bartholomew’s Church on Saturday August 9th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
