Daniel J. Byrnes Jr.

Daniel J. Byrnes Jr. passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. He was born on March 24, 1952 to Daniel J. Byrnes, Sr. and Lillian (Hebert) Byrnes. Dan was a 1970 Graduate of Saunders Trade & Technical High School and retired from New York Presbyterian (Lawrence) Hospital as Print Shop Manager. Dan is survived by a brother Kevin (Karen) Byrnes, sister Sharon (Dennis) Romanszysn, nephews Dennis (Michele) Romanszysn, Michael (Lisa) Romanszysn, Kevin (Nicole) Byrnes, Jr., nieces Jessica (Thomas) Melton and Tracee Byrnes. Great uncle of Ashlee, Denise and Katelynn Romanszysn, Joseph Melton, Michael Romanszysn, Jr. and Kevin Byrnes III. Special Thanks to James Dalcantaro for all your help during this time. You have been a great friend to Dan.

A visitation will be held at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on August 14, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same venue on August 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.

The committal service will be conducted at St Mary's Cemetery, located at 114 Sprain Rd, Yonkers, on August 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:15 am.
