When I was young, I would say with pride, my Uncle Danny is a fireman. I still say this today. My deepest sympathies.

To my Sabol cousins: We send our sincerest condolences on the passing your father. Your Dad was always kind to me and I want you to know that he was a good and kind man. In September 2008, your Dad told me a story I never knew before and I'd like to share it here. Your Dad said to me "Your father came over one day and said 'Come on let's go apply to the firehouse. Let's go!' Well, we know the rest of the story. That day put us all on a positive path and they ended up with careers in service to others. Each generation since then has benefited from that fateful day. They were both good men and let's never forget that. - Love, Cousin Eileen
