Dennis was a great mechanic and a good friend of my dad’s (Jake). I used to take my 78 Camaro into his shop as a teen and drive him crazy with my ridiculous requests (e.g. please wrap the headers!) He was always so nice about it. I liked his dogs Duke and Rock too. Yonkers is like one big family. RIP Dennis.

I am so sorry to hear about Dennis. He and my husband (Jake Costabile) were good friends. My husband is deceased. Dennis came to the wake. My daughter really appreciated his knowledge about her Camaro and his kind ness. We all loved his dogs! We are in Florida now but will always remember him and his great personality . Maybe Dennis an Jake have reunited up there - hope so. God bless you all. The Costabile Family

Dennis was like family. I remember my father always going to his shop to get work done or even just to say hello. He always had a great sense of humor, even during busy days. Every time I brought my car to him he would say " What is it now Kathleen?" and just laugh. Dennis was a great guy who will definitely be missed greatly. Thank you for always treating us like family. You're with the Big Guy now. Rest In Eternal Peace Den.

Dennis was a very down to earth person. He was very caring and generous. I loved seeing his kitties in the shop and always admired how well he took care of them. We are shocked and sad to hear of his passing. Prayers for his family and friends during this time. Rest in peace Dennis.

Mary Jane, No words are going to express how everyone felt about Dennis. When the tears stop the many good times are thought about and I will always be talking to him. My kids remember him as the Birdman from Yonkers. His love of all animals assure him a eternal life and when our time comes he will be there for us.

We had so many good times with you Dennis! Such fun memories . I'll always remember your generosity especially to animals and your kindness to the elderly. You had a gruff exterior but the softest interior. You were a best friend to Don and have joined him in Heaven. I hope you are having a 5 lb lobster with him! My sympathy to MaryJane, John, Paul, Tara, Scott & Karyn, Paul , Nick & Jo and the entire family that he loved so much in this time of grief.

To All of Dennis’ Love Ones,

Dennis was a Teddy Bear, he was a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, an infectious smile, always helping everyone and everything. He worked on all of my cars and I can’t remember ever going to his garage that there wasn’t someone there he wasn’t helping and I don’t mean on their car, he will be truly missed.

Thank you for sharing him. Dennis Rest In Peace.
