Dolores Harmonay

Born on October 8, 1922 to Henry X. and Ellen (Fedor) Cronin in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Harmonay worked as a telephone operator for New York Telephone for over forty years; retiring in 1985. On September 20, 1952 she married Lawrence Harmonay, he died in 1960. She was a parishioner of Christ the King Church and a member of the Glee Club. Dolores is survived by her two children, Michael and Susan Harmonay; her sister Helen Higgins of Bluffton, S.C. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Harry Cronin and three sisters; Frances Wixon; Lillian Egan and Marion Wick. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in Christ the King Church on Thursday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
