
Donald L. Bertram of Ormond Beach, Florida formerly of Yonkers died on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at age 83. Born on October 27, 1930 to Walter and Valveria Bertram in Yonkers where he was raised and attended local schools. Mr. Bertram was a Computer Market Research Rep. until his retirement in 1992. Donald was a Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, a Korean Marine Veteran and the Director of U.S.S.S. A. (United States Slo-Pitch Assoc.), where he also served as an Umpire. He was predeceased by his first wife Anita (Bova) Bertram who died in 1993. He is survived by his wife Patricia of Ormond Beach, Fla. and his four children; Gary (Dorothy), Steven (Mary Jane), Stuart Bertram and Marie (John) Bristol. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; Melissa, Gary, Jr., Tammi, Courtney, Meghan, Tommy and Emma and three great-grandchildren; Jalen, Rebecca and Audrey. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, June 7th at 9:30 a.m. Interment Kensico Cemetery.
