Elena Cazzolla

Elena Cazzolla (Helen) nee (Petrosino) of Yonkers died on Monday, July 4, 2016 at age 104. Born on February 14, 1912 in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. On April 24, 1938 she married Michael Cazzolla in Sacred Heart Church; he died in 1963. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Foundation in Lewiston, N.Y. Mrs. Cazzolla is survived by her two Sons; Michael (Ethel) Cazzolla and Joseph Cazzolla. She is also survived by her two Granddaughters; Lisa (George) Zargos and Lori (Tom) Silliman and her four great-grandchildren; Ryan, Fallon, Amanda and Laina. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Michelle, who died in 1973 and eight brothers and sisters. Cecelia, Mary, Vera Rose, Anthony, Carmen, James, and Thomas Petrosino. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday morning July 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in Christ the King Church (Sacred Heart Friars) on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
