Rest in Peace Aunty Betty.
An amazing aunt and friend to all her nieces and nephews in Ireland , especially the D'Arcy family from Dublin. Betty and Gerry opened their hearts and home to so many of us down through the years and how we loved spending time with them and Jim and Pat in the earlier years of our visitations. I have such wonderful memories of their visits to Ireland where our home became their home for their short but many visits .Our travels around Ireland and trips down memory lane for Gerry and Betty. Most people may not be aware that Betsy's Mam came from the same town land in Co.Fermanagh Northern Ireland as her husband Gerry .Life is strange ! Who could have predicted that so far away their paths would cross and love and marriage would result.Sadly we lost Gerry 20 yrs ago but that did not stop Betty from coming HOME she always loved and talked about that welcome.
Betty's last visit to Ireland was for my nieces wedding 12 yrs ago but we talked regularly on the phone and reminisced about all her visits .
Thank you Betty for all your love and hospitality and whilst you will be sadly missed you will always be greatly loved and never forgotten. You are now in the arms of your darling husband Gerry whom you missed over all those long years apart.Rest in Peace with Jesus and all your loved ones .from Maureen and all my sisters and brothers and cousins THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES OF LOVE AND HAPPY TIMES SHARED
