She was born on March 19, 1929 to William S. and Miriam Stevens Black in Arlington, MA. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Framingham University in Framingham, MA. Mrs. King was an associate food editor for Family Circle Magazine in New York City in the early 1950’s. On April 11, 1953, she married her loving husband, William Clark King (former Commander, U.S. Navy) in New York City. Mr. King died on December 27, 2011. She traveled extensively with her husband during his naval career. Survivors include four daughters, Miriam King of Kerrville, TX, Alice King Weber and Judith King of New York City and Rosemary King Wharton of Arlington, VA, and one son, Peter Clark King of Keene, NH. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ellen Elizabeth King and a son, John Thomas King. Final disposition will be private.
