She was born in White Plains, New York went to St. John's School and worked for a phone company, Four Star Beer in Yonkers and as a bookkeeper at Yonkers Savings and Loan. She married Gerald in September
of 1960. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen from Katonah, Sharon from Yonkers, her son Joseph and his wife Kelly, her full of life grandson Joey, her sister Fanny Zappi of Valhalla and several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed going to Cardinal Spellman Retreat and for thirty five years after retirement Jerry and Betty enjoyed the snowbird life of Florida. She joined the "Red Hats Ladies" and took swimming lessons at the age of 60.
Visitation will be Sunday 7/18/21 from 2pm-6pm at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10am Christ The King Church.
