Fay Kozakiewicz

Fay Kozakiewicz (nee Piarulli) of Yonkers died on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at age 88. She was born on February 13, 1925 to Christopher and Teresa Piarulli in Yonkers where she was raised and attended local schools. On October 6, 1945 she married Anthony Kozakiewicz in Mt. Carmel Church; he predeceased her. Fay is survived by her 2 children Richard (Tresa) Kozakiewicz of Ossining and Suzanne (William) McBride of Cortland Manor. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, her brothers Ben and Thomas Piarulli and her sister Mary Coshigano. She was predeceased by Sammy Piarulli and Laura Radilosso. Her family remembers her devotion to family; especially being a grandma. She enjoyed her visits to family and mainly her willingness to help others. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Augustine Church, Ossining, NY on Friday October 4th at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery
