Florence A. Toppi nee (Piacquadio) of Yonkers died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at age 86. Born on January 18, 1929 to Peter and Madeline (Liberatore) Piacquardio in Elwood City, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Toppi worked in the Accounts Payable Dept. for Ciba-Geigy until her retirement. On September 17, 1949 she married Richard A. Toppi in Mt. Carmel Church, he died in 2007. Florence is survived by her two children; Richard Toppi and Susan (David) Labate, she is also survived by three grandchildren Nicole, Michael and Thomas and five great-grandchildren, also, her brother Peter Piacquadio and sister Frances Delbene and sister-in-law Frances Classey. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
