

Francis was born on January 21st, 1942 in Yonkers, New York to Frank and Aniela (Nellie) Maliborski Mozdziak. Frank was raised in Yonkers and attended St. Casimir’s Grade School and Saunders High School. He graduated from Westchester Community College in 1962.
In August, 1965, he married Lucille Nappi. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Lucille and sons, Francis R. (Celina), Darren and (Liliane), Kevin Mozdziak and Joseph Lubieniecki. He is also survived by his brothers Matthew and Tom and sister, Mary Anne Carpenter and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Stefan, Aniela, Olivia, Joseph and Kyle. He was predeceased by his parents.
Frank was a member of the National Guard from 1963 to 1970. In May of 1967, Frank joined the Yonkers Police Dept. as a patrolman. There he rose up thru the ranks, retiring as a lieutenant in January, 2002. He enjoyed watching sports, loved going to the casino, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital at their website.
Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Friday November 17th at 9:30am. Final disposition will be private.
