Frank J. Longbucco Sr.

Frank J. Longbucco, Sr. of Yonkers died on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at age 73. Born on August 6, 1939 to Frank and Christine (Miko) Longbucco in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Gorton High School. He worked for Local # 137 Operating Engineers for over forty one years; retiring in 2001. He was a Korean Army Veteran. On June 6, 1964 he married Sandra Ferguson in Christ the King Church. She survives living in Yonkers. Frank loved his Yankees and NASCAR Racing and his hobby of car building. Besides his wife Sandra, he is survived by his three children; Frank Jr., William (Christine) Longbucco and Lisa (Craig) Stofko and his four grandchildren; Jacqui, Kevin, Samantha and C.J. He is also survived by his two sisters Joan Huxta and Susan Butler and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital 1 St. Jude Way memphis TN. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church on Monday, July 15th at 10:00 a.m. Committal Service at Ferncliff Chapel.
