Fred L. Pierorazio

Born in Yonkers, NY on May 26th 1932, he was the son of the late Bernardino and Fanny (Massetta) Pierorazio. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 166 in Yonkers, NY. Fred was proud to serve as Treasurer. He retired from the Municipal Housing Authority for the city of Yonkers. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Florence (Pinto) Pierorazio, his daughter Lisa (Pierorazio) DeLorenzo, his son Richard Pierorazio and his wife Diane Pierorazio. Fred was a devoted Grandfather to his five grandchildren; Jimmy DeLorenzo, Nicky DeLorenzo, Joey DeLorenzo, Jessica (Pierorazio) Ward and her husband Frank Ward, and Ricky Pierorazio. Fred found great joy in his three great-grandchildren; Mikayla Watkins, Gianna DeLorenzo, and Jack Ward.

Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave., Yonkers, N.Y. 10703 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 2pm-6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ the King Church, 740 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701 on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
