Gary Michael Williamson left the world to be with our Lord at the age of 54 on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in Yonkers, NY. He was born on December 4, 1965 in Bronxville, NY to loving parents Thomas R. and Theresa R. Williamson (née Mahoney). He was a lifelong resident of Westchester County, primarily Yonkers and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1985. He held positions with Con Edison and the US Postal Service. Gary was an innovator who marched to the beat of his own drum and loved spending time at the Jersey Shore with his son. He was proud father to Thomas James (“T.J.”) Williamson, age 24. He is additionally survived by his long-time partner and T.J.’s mother Kathleen O’Buck, his brother Raymond T. Williamson (Valerie), his sister Janice M. Del Castello (Alexander), his niece/goddaughter Kasey A. Williamson, his nephews Devin T. Williamson and Jason R. Del Castello, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he loved dearly. Memorial Visitation will be held at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Thursday, October 15th from 4 - 8 PM. A Catholic Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, October 16th, 10 AM at the Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart. A private internment will take place at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made in Gary’s name to either the American Heart Association (https://www2.heart.org/site/SPageNavigator/donatenow_legacy.html) or Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.html).
