

Gerard “Jerry” Mazzei was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Adriana, his children Monique and Anthony, along with 2 grandchildren Zoey & Victoria. Jerry had 4 siblings George, Mario, Cathy, and late Alfred. Jerry spent his childhood days and grew up in the Park Hill area of Yonkers where he became a well respected man due to his amazingly generous heart and distinctive humor. His wittiness and capability of being able to put a smile on anyone’s face was a unique quality he had. He devoted his life caring for his wife of 50 years and 2 children and always creating memories with his family. He was known to own the room with his “Jerry jokes” and unique puns and soon owned the title “everyone’s funny uncle”. Jerry taught everyone never take life so seriously. He had such a unique soul of protecting and caring of those around him and whom he cherished. He worked for UPS and a union worker for the City of Yonkers, NY. After retirement he engulfed on a new journey in his life with his hobbies of golfing, fishing, vacationing, and a new sense for fashion which was impeccable. He lived his last healthy days to the fullest with a smile on his face doing what he loved and as his presence is not here, he will continue to have his legacy will never be forgotten. To know him is love him and without saying, he was surely loved.
Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 2-5pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday November 27th at 11am. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale.
