Halyna N. Tytla (nee Hrycenko), a resident of Yorktown Heights died on Friday April 19, 2013 at Calvary Hospital. She was 77 years old. She was born on November 28, 1935 to Alexander and Serafima Zdietovetska Hrycenko in Czechoslavakia where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Tytla is survived by her loving husband Bohdan Tytla. She is also survived by two sons, Andrew Tytla and his wife Sophia of Metuchen, N.J. and Roman Tytla and his wife Angela of North Salem, one sister, Natalie McGrail of Sacramento, Ca. and four grandchildren, Alexander, Max, Olenka and Dimitri. Visiting Hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Pannakhyda Monday 7:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Tuesday April 23rd at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery, Campbell Hall, N.Y.
