Helen M. Hanrahan

Helen M. HANRAHAN,(nee Zarychta), age 85, of Yonkers, New York passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Helen was born August 3, 1935 to Ladislaw Zarychta and Violet Havash Zarychta. She attended Commerce H.S. In Yonkers and graduated in 1952. She married John Hanrahan July 27,1957 at St. Casimir Church in Yonkers, and later became a parishioner at St. Bartholomew's Church.

She is survived by her dear husband John, and her loving children Michael (Maryann), Kathy Mitchell (Peter), her brothers John Zarychta (Luba), Ben Zarychta and her sister in law Evelyn Zarychta ,Frank's widow. Also her beloved grandchildren Michael & Matthew Hanrahan, Casey; Michael's wife, and great grandchildren Michael & Allison Ann Hanrahan.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. . A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Bartholomew Church, 15 Palmer Road, Yonkers, NY 10701. Interment will follow 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave, Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706.
