Helen Nalesnik of Yonkers died on January 26, 2014 at age 90. She was born on December 17, 1923 to Timothy and Stefanie Karniewich on the East Side of Manhattan where she was raised and attended local schools. Helen married Theodore Nalesnik and moved to Nepera Park, Yonkers where she raised a family of four. She later moved to Connecticut to live with her daughter. Helen is survived by her two children Theodore and Claudia and two grandchildren Theodore and Morgan. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 9 to 10am at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home with a service at 10am. Interment will follow at the Ferncliff Cemetery.
