She passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2025.
Born and raised in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from Sacred
Heart High School in 1988.
She married Oscar Moreno who predeceased her in 2022.
Cookie was kind, loving, and would do anything to help someone if she could. As quoted by many philosophers:
" None of us sit high enough to look down on anyone else. Be humble. Be Kind." Cookie felt that is how we should
all be. Besides her kindness, respect, and compassion towards others, she loved animals. She rescued her fur babies
Spanky, and her 2 cats Hawkey and Rascal. She loved them with all her heart. She would even cook healthy foods for
her dog Spanky. They will truly miss her. She was their mom.
She was funny, loved to dance and sing, and take long walks with her boy Spanky. She was always good for a good laugh
especially when you needed one. She was the life of the party. She would always give you a big hug and tell you she
loved you whether in person or on the phone. She truly loved family and friends and wasn't afraid to show it. She will be
greatly missed.
She leaves behind family: Her dad Charles Magner, sister Marcia (Eddie), brother Gary (Isabel), brother Brian (Eileen),
Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Cousins, and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother Marcia Magner, Brother Charles
Magner, III, and husband Oscar Moreno. She missed them all dearly.
