Iris D. Varon, 86, passed away on July 7th, 2026, in Cortland Manor, NY. Iris was born July 3rd, 1940, in Isabela, Puerto Rico and moved to New York in 1943. She had been a resident of the Bronx, New York before moving in 1989 to Melbourne, Florida with her deceased Husband Carlos M. Varon. She was a devoted Mother, Daughter, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Cousin, Aunt and Friend to so many. Her witty spirit of dancing and joyful sense of humor kept many of us with smiles on our faces.

Iris is survived by her Daughter Debra Crespo-Lopez, Son-in-Law Eddie Lopez, Granddaughters Alexis Lopez, Sheena Crespo-Hemminger her husband Peter Hemminger, Grandson Israel Crespo, Great Granddaughters Ellis Hemminger, Rose Hemminger, Daughter-in-Law Celina Ellis, Cousins Zulma and Sal Martingano, Nephews Ernest T. Sierra, Jr., Adam and Dan Martingano, Niece Jenny Martingano-Calautti and her husband Joe Calautti, Gina Norwood, Sister Lucy Morales and many more nieces, nephews and friends!
