James F. Kenny

A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at St. Anthony's RC Church, 10 Squire Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10703. An interment will occur Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 209 Truman venue, Yonkers, NY 10701.

James F. Kenny, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died on August 17, 2023. James was born on July 12, 1939 to Thomas and Anna Kenny (Lewis). He graduated from St. Peter’s School, and Commerce High School. Jim served in the US Army from 1958-1960 and was stationed in Germany. He was a utility worker for the Consolidated Edison Company for 37 years,retiring in 1998. He is survived by his wife Arlene (Sloan), 3 children James, Jeannine Gallego (Dennis), Brian (Loide), as well as his 5 grandchildren, Noelle, Nicholas, Francis, Shannon, & Margaret. A wake is scheduled for Tuesday August 22 and a funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, Nepperhan Ave Wednesday August 23.
