

James attended Yonkers public schools and graduated from Gorton high school in 1984.
He attended Westchester Community College and Cheney University of Pennsylvania, majoring in journalism. went on to grow and manage a Top Producing sales team as a Supervisor with a major telemarketing firm. Being a “Master Orator”, James also used his knowledge and wisdom combined with his special brand of wit and humor to motivate and influence those who knew him personally and professionally.
James also had a fiercely competitive nature fed by his love of sports. A major influence and part of his life, football, basketball & baseball brought him immense joy & wonderful memories.
“JK” as he was affectionatelyknown to family & friends who enjoyed house parties & competing in epic video game tournaments with friends and family members.
James is survived by his daughter Bria King of Macon,Georgia.
His sister Yvette King of Yonkers, NY, Great Aunt; Dorothy Gill of Yonkers NY,
Aunts; Brenda, , Armeila (Arthur), Lillie, Susan (Robert) Ola, & Nikita.
Uncle's; Stephen (Wanda), Ronald(Betty), Clyde and Henry.
Godfather; Robert Reid.
Cousins; Brian, Ladell, Brenda, Akim and Henry.
Lifelong family friend; Andrew Williams and Loyal friend Connie Price and a host of cousins and friends to celebrate his life.
