James Edmund Powers departed this life on August 21, 2012 at the age of 79 years old. James was born to John J. and Mae (Conroy) Powers on May 12, 1933 in Yonkers, New York where he was raised and educated. James went on to serve our country in the United States Armed Forces. He later went to work as a clerk in the United States Postal Service in Mount Vernon New York. James is survived by his daughter Donna Powers and his son James Powers. All Services were private.
