Thinking of you today as we honor our Lord & Savior.  This year has been CRAZY - you certainly could not have handled being all cooped-up without socializing so I am kind of oddly pleased that you are not here to deal with this.   My thoughts and are forever with you as I never EVER had a co-worker like yourself or a team quite like ours.  It makes me happy to have had those years with you - 
Please give love to those who you are with now as well as baby Jesus and hold down the fort until we meet again.

Janes was a huge help to me as Sam Goody’s was my first job as a teenager in the winter of 1991. I have great memories working there. Frank Orlando was a ball of fiery energy. Paul and Frank Orlando was able to talk with me for hours about Sinatra - whom I was, and still am, a huge fan. Bless James and Frank Reda and their spirits for being helpful and fun in my formative years. 

Man,I remember you so well,when I think of the old cross county I think of you at the same time. You must of helped me 100 times. Matter of fact I found this by looking for sam goody in cross county and I instantly thought of you and then bumped into this so sad. Rest in piece friend at least you did not see what the world has become. 

Remembering James, Paul McCormack , Frank Orlando and our hey-day at  Sam Goody's...what good times & great music!!  We had the BEST crew,  PERIOD.  Jimmy brought the party to every single shift and made our 10 hour days seem so short.  We really always wanted to be together.  I still think of Jim's laugh and cute hair flick he so famously executed after a cute guy passed our registers... lol. 
 Loved him then and love him now.  Jimmy, if you can read this, slowly head off to our Woolworth's... I'll meet you there  eventually - We'll have a cawfee, listen to Dan Reed Network on our Walkman's and yack it up just like old times... xo
Love & respect to the entire Reagan family as I honor James' memory  today.

Jimmy was a long time friend of mine for many many years. We had lots of great trips to Cancun, shopping, and clubs. I visited him not long ago at the casino, I been away for many years and now I am glad I had a chance to see him one last time.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all the people who knew and loved him. he was a great friend and will be deeply missed.

I grew up in Yonkers and went to Sam Goody's every week, Jimmy was always there with a smile and being helpful, he always made me laugh.
I later worked with him and Frank part time and we had a great time.
Jimmy will be sorely missed...May you soar with the angels Jimmy.

My Deepest sympathy to Jimmy's family and friends, I grew up in Yonkers and Jimmy was always there in Sam Goodys with a smile and help when needed, he always had a great attitude towards everyone. I later worked part time with him and Frank and I must say I enjoyed every moment. I am stunned that he's no longer with us I will always remember his smile. God Bless you Jimmy may you soar with the Angels in heaven.

My sympathies and condolences to the whole Reagan family.  The funeral service was a wonderful tribute to Jym, especially since I noticed some of our former customers in attendance.  I worked with Jim, along side Paul and others at Sam Goody.  On truck day every week, I had to get Jym his coffee from Zaro's, of course.  Thanks for the warm smile and unique view on people and life, Jym.  Rest in peace.

I had the honor of working w/ Jym for almost 17 years @ Sam Goody. He was truly one of the best people I`ve known. Jym was a true professional @ his job & never `lost it ` with a customer. James and I went all through st.Denis together and were great friends.we had our group which hangout together.he was a smart and very funny guy.so sad he is gone.so young.he will be in my prayers.

I worked with Jimmy at Sam Goody Goody got it with Frank and Melva and Paul. Jimmy was such a free spirit always helping everyone who came in. I can  not believe how much music he knew and he would go out of his way to place a special order. I found out about him dying just yesterday. So Sorry to hear this . Cannot believe this news... I worked with "Jym" (he spelled it that way when he doodled art for me) for years at Sam Goody during his reign as 'Shop Steward'.  He viewed our customers as family and I know no one will disagree. I'll never forget our $1.99 griled cheese ~Woolworth's Special~ lunches and laughing till we peed behind those registers.  It was a special time in my life and Jimmy made it the most memorable for me.  ~ A man with NO hidden agenda, NO ulterior motive and NEVER a bad bone in his body.  He beamed like a broadway show.
May we ALL be as socially graceful and light in the heart as he was.

I have so many fond memories of all our Thanksgivings together at Joan & George's home with their family, you, Carol, Richard, the kids, myself and Madeline. We all enjoyed the fabulous food, the great company and multiple table conversations - ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous to the latest hotbed political issues - all around the exquisite floral centerpieces you would bring from Donna's shop. I will treasure the one on one conversations we shared. You are a treasure to all who met you and will be dearly missed. You touched us deeply with your zest for life, easy-going manner and infectuous smiles. You are unforgettable, Jimmy. we were goods friends in the late 70's. We had great times together and the memories still make me laugh at some of the stuff we did. He has been on my mind lately and forever in my heart.

I am still shocked beyond words about my uncle, but I can honestly say that he truly was one of the greatest people in my life, and I will never forget his kindness, and loving personality. I love you Uncle Jimmy, may you rest in peace. Your loving niece.

Jimmy was always a smile, a laugh and a great story about the real NY Rock n' Roll scene. He gave off good vibes whenever I saw him. I guess he was a little bit of sunshine that God needed back. I'm lucky to have known him in my lifetime. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Peace & Love

One the people made living in Yonkers in 80s what it was.  I hope he and his family understood what big part of our youth he was. Gone much too soon.  Rest in peace, James.

I never knew his name but long before itunes and google, He was an encyclopedia of music and was great to talk to at Sam Goody. I often had to hum a tune to find out what song I wanted. A very nice person. Rest in Peace.

i don't know if jimmy would even remember me, but i remember him very well. i worked with him at sam goody for over a year, a long time ago. he was such a funny guy and he was so...himself. a really honest, authentic person...and it was a pleasure to have known and worked with him.

I was so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing.  I worked with Jimmy at Yonkers Raceway.  Condolences to his family and friends.  He always had an uplifting atitude and limitless energy. Jimmy was such a joy. When he was a teenager he would come to visit me with my daughter, and was always very respectful and a joy to be with.
