James L. Tedesco, 86, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Friday January 12, 2024 at Sans Souci Nursing Home.
He was born on October 15, 1937 to Joseph and Mary DeMarco Tedesco in Harlem, N.Y. where he was raised and educated. Mr. Tedesco was a bus instructor at Baumann & Sons Transportation Company in Long Island and was the Director of Safety for the company. He enjoyed playing stickball with his friends from Harlem. On October 25, 1959, he married Angelina Colucci at Holy Rosary Church in Harlem.Mrs. Tedesco survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Judi Tedesco of Yonkers. He was also the proud owner of his furry friends. All services are private.
