A born and raised New Yorker, he served the city of Yonkers as a police officer for 30 years.
A man with the gift of gab, he was always ready to strike up conversations and always willing to lend a hand.
He worked as an umpire and coach for various sporting organizations in Westchester, and enjoyed skiing and camping in Lake George.
He will be sorely missed during the holiday season, as he looked forward to the opportunity to be with his entire family. Though he was routinely late for Thanksgiving, as he would sit in the car in the driveway to listen to Alice’s Restaurant Massacree in its full 18 minute glory. His favorite holiday tradition was driving around to look at Christmas lights while blasting A Charlie Brown Christmas music with his children.
