John A. Schutte, Sr. died on Tuesday June 18, 2012 at age 87. He was born on July 31, 1924 in the Bronx, NY to James and Margaret Taffe Schutte. John was in the United States Marine Corp during World War II. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Spero) Schutte, his son Kenneth Schutte and his grandson Michael Schutte. He was predeceased by a son John A. Schutte, Jr. He worked in the warehouse for A&P in Elmsford. At the request of the family there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Ardsley. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
