John Warholy, Jr., 86, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Thursday September 27, 2018.
He was born on November 2, 1931 to John and Mary Chomyak Warholy in Yonkers where he was raised and educated. He worked for the Durall-Eagle Tool Co., Inc. in Yonkers for twenty six years until his retirement in 1998. He enjoyed taking long walks and talking to people. He is survived by his devoted sister, Marjorie Klicska, his loving niece Maryann Scelia and her husband Gary and his pet cat Penny. He is also survived by cousins in Texas and Florida. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Warholy. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 1:30 to 4:30pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday October 2nd at 10am. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
