Joseph J. Zeleznik of Yonkers died on December 6, 2011at age 73. He was born on April 4, 1938 to Andrew and Mary (Lelak) in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Yonkers H.S. Joseph worked as a plumber for many years until his retirement in 2000. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, he was also a U.S.Air Force Veteran, having served from 1960 to 1964. He is survived by his sister Mary (Albert) Popet of Yonkers and 2 nieces Janine and Rita. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8pm ONLY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Church Organ Fund.
