Josephine worked as a registered head nurse for many years in the emergency room in New Rochelle hospital. She also worked in various nursing homes. Josephine later changed her career and returned to school to become a teacher. Her last teaching position was at St. Anthony School in Yonkers, New York, where she taught fifth grade.
Josephine is predeceased by husband Carmine DeAngelis, sister Angela Santo and brothers Gino and Michael Fabrizio.
Josephine is survived by close family members, including many nieces and nephews. She also had very special, wonderful friends who were always there for her.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Andrus Nursing Home in Hastings-on-Hudson, who took great care of her during her last days.
Rest in peace. You will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday 2-6pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday December 16th at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
