Yesterday we all gathered to commemorate the sad year since you've been gone. You died in the prime of your life, but the legacy you left during your time with us was one of joy, of friendship, of kindness and love. And I pray that David and Clare, especially, will use the wonderful memories of you to ease the loss they have both suffered.

Our sincere condolences on Julieann's passing, which we learned about only recently. Although we never met Julieann, we heard how brave she was during her ordeal. I grew up with her mom, Claire, at 1121 Morrison Ave. and saw her again after many years at two of the "Morrison Ave." reunions she organized a few years ago. If Julieann was anything like her mom, she was a very nice person indeed.
May she Rest in Peace.

Dear family and friends; I did not look at Julieann's facebook and Legacy pages until tonight. Reading all your beautiful and loving messages, I could not breath, they took my breath away. To know how much she was loved by all who knew her is so over whelming. She loved her family and friends as much as you loved her. She was so courgeous through out her illness. She never complained, just took whatever treatment that would help her. This past year was a struggle, but she managed to smile, and to be happy. She was an amazing woman, and I am proud to be her mother. I miss her so much, and will live with the wonderful memories.
How lucky she was to have David for a husband. He took good care of her, and for that I am eternally grateful. 
I regret that I do not have the addresses of so many who attended her wake.
Please forgive me, and let me thank you here. Before I stop breathing again, let me say God Bless Julieann, and God Bless all of you.

I am so sad and sorry to hear of your loss. I am shocked to hear about Juliann's death and her long battle with breast cancer. She was so young and her pictures on Facebook look like someone who is so healthy, vibrant and happy. I went to high school with Julieann and we were in some of the same classes together. She was such a wonderful person. I remember her always smiling and happy and I never saw her sad or angry. She always had nice things to say about people and she had such a positive attitude. She was so beautiful and I always admired her. I remember the cute look on her face as she batted her eyelashes, blushed and smiled if a teacher called on her to give an answer. Julieann wrote to me on Jan 21, 2011 in Facebook and said "Hi Cheryl how are you? Passing by to sAy Hello. Nice to be in touch.". I don't go on Facebook very often, but I saw her note a month or two ago. The demands of being a working mom, having an unbelievably demanding job and having too much going on in my life, as well as simply forgetting to reply back prevented me from writing a note back to her at the time. I remember seeing her note and saying to myself,"oh, I'll get to it tomorrow". I am very sad and sorry I didn't get a chance to write back to her because now I lost that chance to connect and catch up with her to hear about her life for the past 20 years since MRHS and share stories with her.

On this Easter morning I feel the loss of Julieann most deeply. No holiday was complete without her.  She was my dear daughter-in-law, but I could not have loved her more were she my own daughter. She was my "nora" and I was her "suogera"as we shared good times and bad together. Cancer finally won, but it did not win over the indomitable spirit with which she endured it. She was my darling Julie, and I will miss her beyond words.  My heart is broken for my son, David, and for Julie's mom and family. I know God will embrace her just as we all did when she was with us, and that her loving father and grandpa were there to welcome her home.

My memories of high school are often dim, but your name instantly recalls that beautiful smile and your great warmth and kindness. Whenever I think of Julie, I will think of the life and love she brought to all my family. I remember growing up with Julianne and Vinny and always having the Campisi's in our life.  I always thought of Julianne as a cousin and that will never change.  I can only hope that she is with her father Vinny now.

I remember Julieann as vivacious, laughing and always with a kind word for everyone.  We were in high school together, and even though we didn't know each other well, she is someone I never forgot. Everyone was touched by Julie's Kind loving spirit. She was a remarkable woman. Every little thing was a gift to her. 
When I would tell her she was a teacher, a model, she would say, me ? So humble and gracious. If it is any consolation to her mother, husband, brother and all who grieve, it is that she graced our lives. She taught that love is all and  that a smile in the face of adversity wins all hearts. She was so loved. She probably would be surprised by the number of people that will miss her greatly. She knows. She's over the rainbow, she's free.

I think that God places people in our lives for very special reasons.  JulieAnn was one of those people. She crossed each of our paths so that we should know true strength in adversity, joy among sorrow, and to witness a generosity of spirit that is truly a gift...and one that she shared in abundance. I just wanted to say how sorry I was to read about Julieann.  She was a year younger than I was at MRHS and I didn't know her well but I clearly remember her very pretty smile and how nice she was in the few encounters we had.  Sincere condolences to her family and friends.

There is not a memory of my childhood that does not have Julieann in it.  I was blessed to have her as a friend...anyone who knew Julie, loved her.   I have never met anyone who had her love of life, her spirit, her smile.  She was an inspiration to me.  We have stayed in touch over twenty-five years and although we could go months without speaking to each other, when we spoke it was like we just saw each other yesterday.  Mr. & Mrs. Campisi were like my second family growing up and I know Julie is in heaven with her Dad watching down on us.  She was my fashion guru - always knowing what was in style - the in color - the newest trend.  We survived our first loves together - celebrated when we found our "true" loves and always laughed - I am a better person for having known her....She will be truly missed but always remembered

Julie was always a great friend upbeat and even when it hurt she would always smile. My Friday's at work were particularly brightened as we shared a giving moment for our working community .
Julie's part was to create an e-mail announcing that refreshments were available for all. It may sound trivial but she always came up with a novel and fun way of expressing that simple fact. That was Julie making something that others saw as simple into something that was special and fun.
I will miss you and our fun times together. We will all tuck you away in our hearts in that special place where we remember the good things in life. Rest now and smile as you always did

Whenever we think of Julieann we always remember her beautiful smile and wonderful outlook on life.  Eventhough we didn't see her that often she was in our thoughts throughout her ordeal.
